Cause of death determined for Huntington man who crashed car into Salamonie River

WARREN, Ind. (WOWO): We know now how a Huntington man died after crashing his vehicle in to the Salamonie River over the weekend.

Jeremy Ralston, 22, drowned in his vehicle, according to the Huntington County Coroner.

Our partners in news at 21Alive reported that Ralston had driven his car off the end of Main Street in Warren and into the river during the overnight hours Saturday night into Sunday morning.

The car ended up on its roof in the river, and Ralston wasn’t discovered until 8:30 Sunday morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his death has been ruled an accident.
