C. Indiana Couple Faces 38 Counts Alleging Abuse of Children

LEBANON, Ind. (AP) _ A central Indiana couple accused of molesting four children faces a total of 38 felony charges after police say the two sexually and physically abused four young victims.
 
Police say the man and woman were arrested Monday and are being held in the Boone County Jail on $100,000 bonds. The man faces 32 felonies and one misdemeanor and the woman faces six felonies.
 
The Indianapolis Star reports a concerned citizen alerted authorities, triggering a joint investigation by police in Lebanon and Whitestown and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
 
Police say three girls, ages 8, 11, and 13, were sexually abused and a 16-year-old boy was physically abused beginning last year.
 
The Associated Press is not identifying the suspects to protect the identities of the children.
