INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): From comic book collections to basketball, the weekend promises to offer something for everyone in downtown Indianapolis.

The city is hosting a number of conventions and events, one of them will bring an array of characters and super hero fans to the convention center for Comic Con. It‘s a popular arts convention where you can buy, sell and trade comic books and other items.

There’s also the Big Ten Men‘s basketball tournament at Banker‘s Life Fieldhouse. The Public Library Conference also wraps up this weekend and five separate St. Patrick‘s Day events will get underway.

About 80-thousand visitors are expected to be in town and hotels are nearly sold out both downtown and in surrounding areas.
