Brickworld Showcases Elaborate Lego Creations

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP): A Fort Wayne event designed to bring Lego fans together could lead to a club that will allow them to regularly show off the craftsmanship needed to build elaborate creations from the plastic blocks.

The third annual Fort Wayne Brickworld held Saturday included a visit from a Lego representative who discussed forming a Brickworld club in Fort Wayne.

Ed DeWitt says that a Fort Wayne club would be a community for sharing ideas and building Lego displays for schools, libraries and other venues. Michigan and Indianapolis have clubs.

DeWitt says the popular blocks can boost the economy and help unite families.
