UPDATE AS OF 10:30AM:
Three people have been detained from a home after a “shooting situation.” The home is located in the 800 block of E. Berry Street. One person has been placed into custody. He is one of the original three persons detained earlier in the day.
Officers did obtain a search warrant and discovered three firearms inside the home.
In the meantime, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department have confirmed that the house has been cleared and the streets are now open to traffic.

The blockade is due to a SWAT call out for shots fired in the area. There is NO active shooter.

It’s also unclear at this time whether or not this incident is related to an earlier incident regarding reports of “shots fired” around 8:00 a.m., in the 900 block E. Washington Blvd.
