Bomb Squad Eliminates Suspicious Package at Purdue University

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WOWO): The Purdue Bomb squad has eliminated a suspicious packaged found at Purdue University.

According to WLFI several police departments reported to the scene after a call came in about a suspicious package at the Purdue Memorial Union around 10:30 a.m., Wednesday morning.

Shortly after noon, the Purdue Bomb Squad blew up the suspicious package.

Portions of the Purdue Memorial Union and the Stewart Center were evacuated earlier, but as of right now, the buildings are back to normal operations.
