STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) _ Ronnie Johnson scored 16 points last night as Purdue topped Penn State 58-49 to even its Big Ten record at 5-5. A.J. Hammons added 15 points for the Boilermakers, who won despite shooting just 41 percent from the field. D.J. Newbill had 17 points for the Nittany Lions.
