Body Recovered from St. Marys River

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Conservations officers pulled a body from the St. Marys River a little after 9:45 a.m., Thursday morning.


Since Tuesday night, crews have been investigating reports that a person fell into the river, however, according to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the body was not pulled from the St. Marys River, near Headwaters Park, until 9:47 a.m., Thursday.


The case is being treated as a homicide investigation pending additional information. Stay tuned to WOWO as we will continue to update this story once more details become available.
