Bluffton Police Investigating Accidental Shooting of 13-Year-Old Boy

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WOWO): The Bluffton Police Department is currently investigating an accidental shooting that happened Tuesday morning.

 

Police received a 911 call at 11:55 a.m., about a boy being found outside a mobile home on 620 ½ Beth Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

 

The boy was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital for treatment and according to Nathan Huss, Chief of Police with the Bluffton Police Department, the boy was alert as he was being transported.

 

Three other minors were home at the time of the shooting and are currently being interviewed by investigators.
