FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Whether you’re a parent or a student, believe it or not, it’s time for school again.

Students at Fort Wayne Community Schools head back to class on Monday.

One of the biggest adjustments for kids is when they go to bed. Faye Williams-Robbins is the head of Family and Community Engagement at FWCS and she says this weekend will be critical.

“It’s important that parents are getting that shift in when (children) go to bed and when they get up.” Williams-Robbins says. “We have kids that, when school starts back, they come back a little sluggish because they’re used to staying up late.

Even though kids might be used to staying up late on the weekends, she says getting kids in the habit of going to bed earlier will help them adjust when classes start.

This story is the first part of a series on back to school at FWCS.
