AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): What started as a traffic stop turned out to be a lot more in Auburn.

DeKalb County deputies pulled over a car at around 8 p.m. Saturday on I-69 southbound in Auburn. The deputy searched the car shortly after.

During the search 14.5 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were reportedly found inside the car. A picture provided by the department also indicates that cash was seized.

Colt M. Malott is charged with dealing over 10 pounds of marijuana, which is a Level 5 felony. He also faces misdemeanor possession and paraphernalia charges. Katheryn R. Pogue is also facing the same marijuana charges that Malott is facing.

It wasn’t said why the vehicle was pulled over. No further information was available.
