Atterbury Looks Long-Term as Mission Changes

(AP): Camp Atterbury will lose hundreds of jobs over the next few years as its military training mission winds down, but officials at the southern Indiana base say they're confident the facility's long-term future is secure. Martin Umbarger of the Indiana National Guard tells the Daily Journal that the facility's mission will change as wars wind down overseas, but continued growth at Camp Atterbury is positioning it for new duties.
