Attempted Robbery on Candlelite Court

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police were called to Candlelite Court off of Fairfield Avenue for an armed robbery Saturday around 2:30 P.M. According to victims, a white man, described as 6', with short black hair and side burns, came around the back of the apartment and said he was working on a research paper for a school and wanted to go inside the apartment to interview one of the victims. When the man refused, the suspect pulled a revolver from his shorts. The two began arguing, and then two black men, one described as 5' 5″, with black hair, the other with no description, came around the back and pulled down masks. One took the victim's girlfriend in the house while the other kept guard. Neighbors heard commotion and came out of their apartments. Both victims report the men got nervous and ran from the scene.
