Attempted Armed Robbery Ends When Clerk Yells for Shotgun

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An attempted armed robbery ended when a convenience store clerk yelled for a shotgun. It happened early Thursday when two men went into the Pop Shop at West Main and Center, one with a handgun. The clerk yelled “Get the shotgun,” to the owner of the store, and when the owner came out with the gun, the suspects ran away, according to the Journal Gazette. The suspect with the gun is described as a 6-foot-tall white man, weighing 180 pounds, in his 20s. The other person is described as being about the same height and weight.
