AT&T Store Robbed Overnight on Lima Road

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are looking into a nighttime robbery that happened at the AT&T Store on Lima Road.

Around 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, the store's alarm system went off and police responded the south-side entrance, where a door had been broken. When they arrived, there was glass on the floor and fresh footprints in the snow that led police to the parking lot.

The footprints showed the suspects had fled the scene in some kind of vehicle. After further investigation, a store employee said the suspects got away with 11 cell phones that were cut from their security cords inside the display cases.

Surveillance video showed one of the masked suspects entered the store to steal the cellphones, while the other acted as a lookout.

The incident is still under investigation.
