FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday afternoon, several law enforcement agencies made an arrest involving a recent homicide investigation at an elderly woman's home on Le Steele Boulevard.

23-year-old Zachery Reinders of Fort Wayne, was arrested in connection with the August 8th murder of 78-year-old Diane Woods. She was pronounced dead inside her home. According to the Allen County Coroner, the cause of death was determined to be blunt force injury to the head.

  
Woods is the 9th homicide victim in Allen County in 2014.

Reinders has been charged with murder, felony murder, and robbery. He is currently being held without bond at the Allen County Jail.

Meanwhile, his arrest remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
