Armed Robbery at Clinton Dollar General

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police were called to the Dollar General Store on North Clinton in reference to an armed robbery at 9:02 P.M. Sunday night. Store employees say the suspect showed a handgun and made them lay on the floor. The suspect, described as a black man, around 5' 7″ to 5' 8″, possibly in his early 20's, wearing grey Reebok shoes and a blue/grey zip-up hoodie, left the store heading south on Clinton. A possible witness was outside, who told employees that the suspect left in a white or silver older Ford Taurus but said he did not want to stay and talk to police. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money in addition to a Chase bank money bag.
