FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A major bridge connecting one of Fort Wayne's busiest streets will reopen in days.
Officials say the Anthony Boulevard Bridge over the Maumee River, east of downtown, will be ready for traffic Thursday.
The bridge has been closed since September as crews fortify the bridge for heavier loads.
It's also undergone some cosmetic changes, including adding a pedestrian walkway. The total project cost about two million dollars.
