FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As one local restaurant reopens after a pest problem, another one is forced closed for the same reason. Naked Tchopstix was shut down Tuesday after officials noted cockroaches in the sushi bar and near a freezer. John Silcox of the Fort Wayne-Allen County Health Department says the establishment is back open after meeting reopening requirements. Another restaurant, Lakeside Cafe, was shut down by officials after a failed inspection yesterday for similar pest-related issues. Silcox says there have now been 9 restaurant closures so far this year. He adds that depending on the type of food establishment, inspections are conducted once or twice a year.
