Another Gold Medal for Voices of Unity

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A gold medal performance for Fort Wayne's Voices of Unity Choir.

The youth chorus finished with a gold and silver medal at the 8th World Choir Games in Latvia. It's the fifth gold medal and first silver for the group since they started in the international competition in 2010.

The event happens every two years with singers from around the world. More than 27 thousand performers participated this year.

Voices of Unity is comprised of 30 local members between the ages of nine and 18 years old. The group is directed by Marshall White.
