INDIANA, (WOWO): The BBB is warning of a new scam that targets people who use craigslist.

The scam involves someone offering lower prices for items you've searched for and it then directs you to a third party seller. That seller is normally a fake company called “Easy Yard Sale” and once the transaction is made it will be nearly impossible to get your money back.

Officials with the BBB say that meeting in person when you use craigslist and physically seeing an object before buying it will keep you from being scammed. Anyone that needs to report a scam is urged to call the BBB.
