Amtrak Service Continues from Chicago to Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Amtrak service between Indianapolis and Chicago will continue through January.

INDOT officials announced they've reached a deal the will fund the route for four months.

The Hoosier State Line includes Crawfordsville, Rensselaer, and Lafayette.

The route lost federal funding last year. Officials continue to search for long-term funding options.
