Allen County’s Air Receives ‘D’ Rating

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): An annual “State of the Air” report released today by The American Lung Association says half of Americans live in counties where ozone or pollution levels make air unhealthy to breathe. The report uses the most recent air pollution data, compiled by the EPA for the two most widespread types of pollution; smog and soot.  Allen County's air received a “D” on the grading scale meaning it's unhealthy for sensitive populations.
