FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If you're looking for a pet, the PetSmart at Apple Glen will be the place to be Saturday.

The Allen County SPCA is holding their “Big Adoption Event” at the store Saturday from noon to 4pm, aiming to find homes for most of the nonprofit shelter's adoptable cats, kittens, dogs and puppies. They'll be encouraging same-day adoptions and will have so many staffers and animals on-hand at the event that the SPCA's shelter on South Hanna Street will be closed for the day.
