Allen County Dispatch Reports More Than 50 Weather-Related Accidents

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County dispatch is reporting more than 50 weather-related accidents.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, a five-car pile-up happened on the bridge on Spy Run Avenue.

The Huntington County Sheriff Department is also investigating a crash that happened on I-69 at the 285-mile marker.

Leaders with the Indiana Department of Transportation are urging drivers to slow down and use caution while driving in snowy conditions as Lagrange, Elkhart, and St. Joseph counties are under a lake effect snow advisory. Snow showers are also possible in the Fort Wayne area.
