All Clear Given at IU Southeast

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities looking for an armed man at the IU Southeast campus in New Albany have issued the all-clear.


According to the school's twitter account, the weapon was determined to be an umbrella.

Originally, the alert was issued, with police looking for an armed, white man, 5'10,  wearing light colored shorts and with a camouflage backpack.

The incident was reported about 12:40 p.m. near the campus life office on the New Albany campus that covers about 180 acres. It has 6,500 students.
