Albion woman pleads guilty to unemployment fraud

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): An Albion woman has admitted to unemployment insurance fraud.

43-year-old Tina Harris pleaded guilty in Marion County and was ordered to pay back more than $29,000 in unemployment benefits she collected from the state while also working a full-time job. Our partners in news at 21Alive report she also got sentenced to eight years probation.

The state’s Department of Workforce Development is urging anyone who knows about unemployment fraud to report it onlint at the IN.gov website.
