INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): The ACLU of Indiana is suing a pair of municipalities for blocking individuals on Facebook.

The ACLU announced Friday they’re filing suit on behalf of Richard Wolf of Elkhart and Carol Bare of Martinsville.

Wolf claims he was completely blocked from posting on the City of Elkhart’s page in 2015 after expressing concerns over alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Bare says she was blocked by the Martinsville Police Department’s page after criticizing police a little over a year ago.

In both cases, their comments were removed and they remain blocked from commenting. The ACLU says both plaintiffs’ First Amendment Rights were violated.
