A Fort Wayne Man Admits Involvement in Ambulance Shooting

24-year-old Traneilous Jackson of Fort Wayne pleaded guilty to his involvement in an ambulance shooting that left several people injured.

The incident happened last fall; Jackson is accused of firing at a moving ambulance along with a car that was traveling behind it.

The ambulance was carrying a man who had been stabbed at Pierre’s nightclub earlier that day.  According to the Journal Gazette, as part of a plea agreement, prosecutors are recommending Jackson be ordered to serve 60 years behind bars.

A judge will decide to accept or reject the plea deal at Jackson’s sentencing hearing at a later date.
