A Bomb Threat in Warsaw Leads to Evacuations

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A bomb threat called into the Warsaw Kmart just before 6:00 p.m., Tuesday night forced the evacuation of the entire Lake Village Shopping Center.

Detectives say the threat happened during a more-than-10 minute phone call. The caller was described as having a Middle Eastern accent. The store was searched, but no evidence of a bomb was found and the shopping center was re-opened in about an hour. A store spokesperson says several Kmart’s, nationwide, have received similar bomb threats.
