FREMONT, Ind. (WOWO) – There are nine million reasons you will want to check your pockets if you recently purchased a lottery ticket in Steuben County.

That's because there's a Nine million winning lottery ticket. 

Lottery officials say someone purchased the winner Wednesday at the Fremont Shell on US 27. The winning numbers are 5, 6, 16, 17, 24 and 40. 

If you have the winning ticket, sign the back immediately and call Hoosier Lottery Customer Service at 1-800-955-6886 for claiming instructions. The prize must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.

By the way, earlier this week, someone purchased a $90,000 winning scratch-off at the Meijer in Angola.
