55-Year Sentence for a Fort Wayne Gunman

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It's a 55-year sentence for Fort Wayne gunman. That judgment came down this morning in Allen Superior Court.

In March, Josiah Thomas confessed to shooting 22-year-old Gerrell Borum in a drive by shooting near Indiana Avenue and Rudisill Boulevard. Police caught Thomas a few blocks away in a pickup truck with shell casings in his vehicle. Under a plea deal, Thomas will get 45 years in prison with 10 years probation.
