5-year-old Boy’s Bathtub Death Under Investigation

MONTICELLO, Ind. (AP) _ State police say an investigation is underway into the death of a 5-year-old northern Indiana boy who reportedly was found not breathing in a bathtub.

Sgt. Kim Riley says Ian Davidson died Thursday at an Indianapolis hospital, where he was taken by helicopter after emergency workers were called the day before to his family's home near Monticello.

Riley says a family member reported finding Ian in the bathtub and that after a 911 call was named a neighbor who is a paramedic arrived and started CPR on the boy. Ian's parents were home at the time. Results of an autopsy are pending and no charges have been filed.
