“Pokemon Go” took America by storm when it was released in July. It shortly became one of the most used mobile apps in America and Fort Wayne was no exception.
The cooler weather and lack of humidity is the perfect weather for catching Pokemon, hatching eggs and fighting other Pokemon trainers.

IPFW is a great place to catch Pokemon. The campus has multiple gyms and several pokestops. The campus also has walking trails, which are great for hatching eggs.
IPFW is located at 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd.
Jefferson Points is a great place to play the game for residents in the south west part of town. The shopping center has a gym and multiple pokestops. There is also plenty of sidewalks for hatching eggs.

Shoaff Park has gyms, pokestop and trails. The park is also great for Pokemon hunting because several rare Pokemon spawn there.
The park is at 6401 St. Joe Road.
Lakeside Park has a gym. It also has pokestops within close proximity to each other, which makes dropping lures easy. It’s also a great park for finding rare Pokemon.

Headwaters Park and the downtown area has multiple pokestops and gyms.
The park is located at 333 South Clinton St.
