37 juveniles arrested in LaGrange County, charged for minor consumption

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – Around 2 a.m. Saturday, June 3, LaGrange County Deputies were dispatched to the residence of 6555 W 100 S, Topeka, IN for an underage drinking complaint.

When police arrived to the scene, the investigation revealed multiple vehicles and alcoholic beverage containers scattered around the residence.

Several individuals ran in different directions, but deputies gathered approximately 37 juveniles, including 12 over the age of 18, and 25 juveniles under 18.

The individuals above the age of 18 were transported to the LaGrange County Jail and booked in for Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

The remaining juveniles were transported to the Sheriff’s Department where they were released to a parent or guardian. They were charged with minor consumption.

Charges will be sent to the Probation Department.
