31st Meth Lab Bust in Fort Wayne for 2014

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO: A late night traffic stop led police to a meth bust.

 

According to Fort Wayne police, 33-year-old Kenneth Sorrell was stopped just before 10:30 p.m., Friday evening for a traffic violation and that’s when officers discovered that Sorrell was in possession of methamphetamines. 

 

Upon further investigation, detectives learned that there was a meth lab at 2206 Brooklyn Avenue. Inside the home, police found evidence that methamphetamines were being manufactured.  Methamphetamine precursors were also discovered.

Sorrell is now facing the following charges:

 

Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 Felony)                       

Dealing Methamphetamine (Manufacturing) (Level 5)
Possession of Two or More Chemical Precursors
                       
 

This was the 31st meth lab in Fort Wayne for 2014.
