According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Zachary Reinders pleaded guilty last month to killing 78-year-old Diane Woods. He was arrested in connection to the murder in August.
Reinders killed Woods with a fireplace poker found insider her mobile home located on Le Steele Boulevard. He then proceeded to steal her TV and credit card.
Family members say they were having a hard time reaching Woods and when they went to visit, they found her unconscious. Paramedics pronounced Woods dead on the scene. According to the Allen County Coroner, the cause of death was determined to be blunt force injury to the head.
