2015 Vera Bradley Outlet Sale Saw Decline in Guests

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Attendance was down last week at the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale.

The sale took place at Memorial Coliseum last week, bringing in nearly 54,000 guests.

According to the Journal Gazette, almost 59,000 people were at last year's sale. Vera Bradley announced they would close the New Haven factory, causing job-loss, and protests among the Fort Wayne community.

There's a job fair for those employees when the factory doors close. Despite low numbers at this year's outlet sale, donations for the company's Breast Cancer foundation totaled about $30,000.
