2 People struck by Vehicle, Killed in Crown Point

CROWN POINT, Ind. (AP) — Two people were killed when they were struck by a vehicle in northwest Indiana.

The Post-Tribune reports  49-year-old William Knight and 42-year-old Linda Darlington, both of Crown Point, were struck by a vehicle in their hometown about 12:15 a.m. Sunday. They both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lake County Coroner's office says it appears to be an accident. The Lake County sheriff's office is investigating.
