2 LaPorte Teens Arrested on Heroin, Other Drug Charges

The LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit has announced the arrest of two suspects for charges related to ongoing investigations into drug trafficking in LaPorte County.  

On Tuesday, 18-year-old Matthew Jageman and 19-year-old Brandon Williams were located and arrested in rural La Porte County and charged with various drug related offenses.  Jageman, who resides in the City of La Porte, has been charged with Dealing in Heroin, a class “B” felony and Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance.  He was also charged with Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, a class “D” felony, and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, a class “D” felony.

Brandon Williams, of rural LaPorte County,  was arrested was charged with Aiding, Inducing, or Causing an Offense, a Class “B” felony as well as Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (heroin) and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, both class “D” felonies.  

Both Williams and Jageman were arrested without incident and are being held in the LaPorte County Jail with bonds that have been set at $25,000.  They are scheduled to appear in La Porte County Circuit Court on Friday.
