19 things to do this fall in Northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It’s beginning to look a lot like fall.

Well, not really. Thursday is the official first day of Autumn, even if the temperatures are in the 80s.

Eventually, the leaves will fall, the pumpkins will be carved and cooler weather will move into northeast Indiana.

Here is the unofficial ultimate bucket list of all the things to do during fall.

Go on a Murder, Mystery & Mayhem: Haunted Bus Tour or Walk

ARCH is having bus tours and walks on Oct. 15. The tours will visit various sites ranging from Northside High School, the GE Complex and other haunted places in Allen County. It’s $10 for walking tours and $15 for bus tours. 

Go to a Komets Hockey Game

The Komets 2016-2017 season officially starts in October. The first home game is Saturday, Oct. 15.

Go for a walk

Fort Wayne has miles of trails perfect for walks. Indiana State Parks are also beautiful during the fall.

Trick or Treat / Give out candy

Trick-or-treating will be observed during the hours of 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 in Fort Wayne. During those hours, kids should only visit homes with porch lights on.
