$10K Reward Offered in Fort Wayne Slayings and Arson

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ Federal and local authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information in the shooting deaths of a Fort Wayne couple found inside a burning home last month.

The Journal Gazette reports the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Fort Wayne police and fire departments posted the reward Wednesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the July 18 fire and slayings of 41-year-old Terry Lagrone and 19-year-old Desiree Sheets.

Acting Special Agent in Charge Christopher Hyman of the Columbus Field Division of the ATF says it was “a vicious and senseless act of violence and those responsible need to be caught and held accountable for their actions.''

Lagrone had a criminal history involving drugs, including a 1997 conviction for dealing cocaine.
