1 Killed, 1 Wounded in Indianapolis Shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indianapolis police say two teenagers have been arrested after a shooting at a clothing store that left one person dead and a second wounded.

Police arrived at the Body Gear store on the city's east side on Sunday afternoon and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were taken to a hospital. Sergeant Kendale Adams says the male victim died at the hospital during surgery. The female victim was transported in good condition.

It is not clear whether either of the victims was a store employee.

Police said two people have been arrested-an 18-year-old and 17-year-old-who are both from Indianapolis.

Last year, Indianapolis had 125 homicides, its highest tally in seven years. This year, violence is on track to outpace 2013.
