$1.8M Plane Sale to Boost Indiana State Police

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The Indiana governor's office says more than $1.8 million raised by selling a state airplane is going to support the state police. The 2001 Beechcraft Super King Air B200 twin-turbine aircraft was sold Jan. 30 to Florida-based American Aviation for $134,000 more than the state Department of Administration sought for it. The Florida business offers flight classes and airplane repairs.
