FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As Valentine’s Day is approaching and available dinner reservations are quickly dwindling some people may be in a small panic on what to do this holiday.
But don’t fear, WOWO has compiled a list of unusual date ideas that you and your special someone can do in Fort Wayne.
TinCaps Surprise
What: The TinCaps are offering a special package for Valentine’s day that includes flower bouquet, balloons, two tickets to opening day (fireworks night) and a photo of the delivery, which will be done by Johnny.

Fort Wayne Boat Show and Sale
What: The 35th annual boat show will be at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum over Valentine’s Day weekend, Feb. 11-14. The show has it all from wet suits, skies, water toys, boat covers and more.
Price: Adult tickets are $10 and children 12 and under are free. If you visit The Fort Wayne Boat Show, there are discount coupons. Tickets can be bought at the door.
Fort Wayne Ballet
What: The Fort Wayne ballet is presenting “Love Dance,” which is a medley of love expressed through a range of stories, at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Feb. 13. You can buy general admission seats or a special the package, which includes a table for two, champagne, roses, chocolates and premium seating
Price: $20 for general admission seating and $50 for the package. Tickets can be bought online.
Date night Wine and Canvas
What: Fort Wayne Wine and Canvas is having Valentine’s date night painting events Thursday, Feb. 11, through Sunday, Feb. 14. Each night features a different painting. Painting themes include hearts, swans, trees of love and moonlit love. This event is 21 and up because there is beer and wine available.
Price: $35 per seat and reservations can be made online.
Fort Wayne Escape Room
What: While there isn’t a special for Valentine’s Day, an escape room might be a fun twist. Escape rooms allow players to step into another world where they have to put their wit to the test.
Price: Most rooms are available between $20 to $25. Reservations can be made online.
Arthur Murray Dance Studio on Coldwater Road
What: The dance studio will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by having a group dance at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 13. The dance will be a mixture of all skill levels. Following will be a party from 9 to 10 p.m.
Price: Both the dance and the party are open to the public. While students of the studio get in for free, tickets for non-students cost $10.
The Glass Park classes
What: The Glass Park is offering classes on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14. During the class, participants learn about glass and glass blowing. Their creation will be mailed to them after the class.
