UPDATED: Fort Wayne Police Investigating Cap N’ Cork Shooting

11:05AM, 9/22/15 update: The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Peter Major of Fort Wayne. He's still in critical condition.

5:00 AM, 9/22/15 update: Police have arrested 53-year-old Homer Richards of Fort Wayne for the shooting.

2:40 PM update: The Fort Wayne Police Department says that two people are being questioned for their possible roles in a shooting at a Fort Wayne liquor store Monday afternoon. 

Police responded to the Cap-n-Cork Liquor Store on East Lewis between Monroe and Hanna Streets at about 12:45 PM. 

A disturbance reportedly took place inside the store just east of downtown Fort Wayne between three or four people. A man in that disturbance was shot, and two people took off. 

One was caught at Hanna and Wallace Streets without incident after trying to drive away. The second person took off from the store on foot, but was caught about two blocks south at Hanna and Hayden Streets. 

The shooting victim is reported in critical condition. No official arrests have been made.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating a possible shooting at a Cap N' Cork Monday afternoon. 

It happened at about 12:45 PM on the Cap N' Cork on East Lewis Street between Monroe and Hanna Streets. 

Police aren't officially commenting yet, but our partners in news at 21Alive report that the victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition after being found inside the store.
