Murder Charges Filed in Stabbing Death Case from August

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Murder charges have been added for one of the suspects allegedly involved in the stabbing death of an Angola man.

31 year old Jeremee Coney is now charged in Allen Superior Court with murder, felony murder, and robbery, according to the Journal-Gazette.

37 year old Donald Jacquay was found dead outside of a party on Hanna Street on August 29th. Coney was the last person to be seen alive with Jacquay, but murder charges weren't filed yet until the investigators discovered the victim's cell phone, along with several text messages that were sent after Jacquay's body was found. Coney said Jacquay tried to rape him.

Jacquay suffered three stab wounds to his body. He was one of three unrelated homicides reported within a 12 hour period.
