Mike Pence rallies in Fort Wayne with Young and Holcomb

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Top Republicans gathered in Fort Wayne on Friday.

Governor Mike Pence made a stop in the Summit City on Friday to rally for Donald Trump. This was Pence’s third public presidential campaign event in Indiana since he was named Trump’s running mate.

GOP Senate candidate Todd Young and gubernatorial candidate Eric Holcomb appeared with Pence. Young introduce Pence, saying “he is the right man for the moment.”

At the beginning of Pence’s speech and throughout the rally, Pence said how important the gubernatorial and senate races were for Indiana and America.

Some of the loudest applauds of the rally came when Pence said Hillary Clinton should be disqualified because of Benghazi. Also, when Pence said Trump won’t fail to support law enforcement.

“A President Donald Trump will never fail to recognize that the men and women of the law enforcement in the country are a force for good,” Pence said. “They are the best of us and he will ensure they have the resources and tools to protect our families and keep us safe at night.

Pence also mentioned Clinton’s erased emails and Benghazi.
