Local Muslims condemn Orlando terror attack

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Muslims in Fort Wayne are speaking out against this weekend’s terror attack in Orlando.

A man who had sworn allegiance to ISIS entered a gay nightclub Saturday night and opened fire, killing 49 and wounding at least 53 others before police broke into the building and killed the shooter.

It’s the deadliest terror attack in the US since 9/11, and the deadliest mass shooting on US soil ever.

The Burmese Muslim Education and Community Center of Fort Wayne announced on their Facebook page they’re standing with the families of the victims, condemning any kind of violence against anyone, saying they believe attacks like these are against the teachings of Islam.
