Leesburg Man Allegedly Shot By Son

LEESBURG, Ind. (WOWO): A Leesburg man was reportedly killed by his own son Friday night.

Deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department were called to a home on East Levi Lee Road in Leesburg after receiving a call of a possible shooting incident.

The victim, 60 year old Ronnie Poe, had a gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses told officers that his son, 35 year old Ryan Daniel Poe, had shot his father. 

Ronnie Poe died at the scene from his injuries. Ryan Poe was taken into custody without incident and is being held at Kosciusko County Jail on a murder charge.
